7 library that can make us amazed [ 7 Cool Libraries in the World ]

Foster interest in reading in order to obtain a more intelligent generation, it is very important. Now, a good library, not just a pile of books drab. There are many innovations made by various parties. Below is shown 7 library that can make us amazed and wanted to linger in it. Perhaps this should be increasingly recognized by the regulatory determinant in this country, growing increasingly lost interest in reading. books One observer once said, that 80% of young generation prefers drugs than reading. Sad? Yes, hopefully 7 libraries below can be an inspiration :)

1. New York Public Library, New York



 New York Public Library is one of the iconic NYC buildings. Built on the location of the old Croton Reservoir, New York's first public library opened in 1911. The building was built using 530,000 cubic meters of marble. According to the official website, the library contains 15 million books, including manuscripts of 1,200 languages and dialects, more than 350 works cataloged by George Sand and the earliest copies of the Nican Mopohua. 


2. Salt Lake City Public Library


Designed by architect Moshe Safdie, Salt Lake City library was opened in 2003.The six-story building has an auditorium with 300 seats and a multi-level reading area. Natural light radiates from all directions building. The library holds more than 500,000 books and other items. 


3. Geisel Library, University of California, San Diego


Designed in the 1960s by William Pereira, the University of California has a geometric library building named in honor of Audrey Geisel library and Theodor Geisel (known as Dr. Seuss) in 1995. The library has more than half a million items, including books, magazines with a variety of reference tools and digital resources such as ARTstor (images) and Database Recorded American Music (streaming audio). 


4. Seattle Central Public Library


After going through a massive overhaul, Seattle Central Public Library re-opened. The library has 11 floors. Appearance of the building is unique and quirky, if not at first glance looks like a library. You are interested in visiting that place? 


5. Trinity College Library, Dublin, Ireland

Largest library in Ireland, Trinity College library re-opened in 1592. This smart home store 5 million items, including journals, manuscripts, maps and music.Some special collections include Ussher Collection and Collection Fagel. The library also has a manuscript book of kells. 


6. Abbey Library, St. Gallen, Switzerland


This is the oldest library in Switzerland. Abbey library is home to approximately 170,000 books and other materials. One unique feature of the library is a collection of manuscripts of the early Middle Ages until 1805.


 7. Vatican Library, Vatican


Vatican Library to store more than 180,000 manuscripts, 1.6 million books, 8,600 incunabula (the term used by the British book collector to explain the books were first printed in the 15th century), 300,000 coins and medals, 150,000 paintings and 150,000 photographs. But not everyone can see the collection. Visitors can see this collection are researchers, academics, teachers and graduate students
